Erik is a Board Certified Real Estate Attorney, and actively handles real estate closings.  Being an attorney he can provide more than just basic closing services.  If a legal issue arises during the closing process, he can address it at that time.  For example, there have been instances when a lease was required at the closing table, or the transaction would have come to a halt.  He simply prepared the lease and the closing continued without significant interruption.  That facilitates everyone at the table!  

 

Erik is not only an attorney, he is a real estate broker... and very active and involved with the Venice Area Board of Realtors.  You may have attended one of his many seminars, including continuing new real estate documents, education and orientation.  Erik is also a past President of the Venice Area Board of Realtors and of the local Women's Council of Realtors.  In addition, he has the honor of being selected, twice, as Realtor® Of The Year!

 

Erik's legal work is not limited to real estate, although he excels in that area of law.  To summarize, briefly, Erik provides Real estate closings services, prepares deeds, title insurance, leases, contracts and other real estate related legal documents, while providing council regarding real estate issues.  In addition, Erik prepares wills and estate planning documents, and related services.  If you are in need of setting up a corporation, he does that, too, along with related issues.  And, of course, the usual general legal work.
